'Downton Abbey' is the new Home of George & Amal Clooney by " Classy & Fabulous"

After having one of the biggest weddings of the year , George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have reportedly just bought their first home together. 
The newlyweds are now the proud lord and lady of The Mill House, a sprawling 17th-century manor on the River Thames in the British countryside.

The newlyweds are the new owners of a 17th century manor in Downton Abbey country, located on the Thames River in the British countryside, according to The New York Daily News.

 The property, which is known as The Mill House, boasts 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, flowering gardens, a boathouse with a dock and a 2,000 square-foot guest cottage. The Downton Abbey-esque home also features marble floors, large fireplaces and a central staircase tying all the rooms together. Aside from the 9 bedrooms, Clooney's new manor also has a steam room, a gym, dining room, breakfast room and a library.

Formerly known as The Aberlash House, the abode is just an hour from Highclere Castle, the 5,000-acre estate used in the hit PBS series “Downton Abbey.” While the actual price Clooney and Alamuddin, a London-based human rights lawyer, paid for the property was undisclosed, the estate was listed last year for $16 million on the RightMove website.

 The grounds are especially Downton -esque, with lawns stretching all the way down to the Thames. In addition to the charming footbridge, there's a greenhouse and a garden pavilion dotted with mature specimen trees and flower beds.
